Relation and responsibility. Responsible relations.

Næsje, P. & Ristvedt, P.E. (2003). Relation and responsibility. Responsible relations. Human Systems. The journal of systemic contultation and managment,14 (3). (s.131-150).

Sammendrag:

This article describes a project at a failiy unit, the main focus beeing on not talking about, or discussing, the families when they are present.

The therapists had no meetings - formal or informal - where the families were spoken about. This led in our daily work to a way of working where families were participants in all the meetings and situations at which they were mentioned.

The background for this work was a strongly felt discomfort by the therapists when they talked about clients who were not present. This project, like others, is founded in the belief that the way we talk about someone is creating them
